Sinomach leads way in Belt and Road infrastructure projects

(xamajiangji.com)

Sinomach has racked up top achievements in sectors including power transmission, residential livelihood projects, and agricultural processing.

By delivering high-quality landmark projects, the group continues to deepen its pragmatic cooperation in international production capacity and infrastructure — injecting strong momentum into energy upgrades, industrial development and livelihood improvements across Belt and Road partner countries.

Uganda 220 kV hub substation commissioned ahead of schedule

In Africa, China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) — a key subsidiary of Sinomach — has energized and put into operation the 220 kV Maya substation and supplementary power line, part of the Kampala Metropolitan Transmission System Project in Uganda, two months ahead of schedule.

A pivotal project in Uganda's national power grid upgrade, the facility covers the core power grid area of Kampala and holds great significance of improving the local power transmission network.

After commissioning, it will markedly enhance power supply stability and transmission efficiency in the capital city's metropolitan area — effectively reducing grid losses and providing solid energy support for local industrial development, urban operations and people's livelihoods.

Uzbekistan's Andijan Waste-to-Energy Project marks milestone

Uzbekistan's Andijan Waste-to-Energy Project, currently under construction, has marked a major milestone.

Funded, built and operated by China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd (CAMCE), and designed by China United Engineering Corporation Limited (CUC) — with the involvement of the China Jikan Research Institute of Engineering Investigations and Design Co., Ltd. (JK INSTITUTE) , the boiler steam drum of the plant was recently successfully hoisted into place in one precise lift.

As the core component of the boiler, the steam drum required extremely high-precision installation.

The overall project embodies Sinomach's in-depth layout in Central Asia's green energy market. Once completed, it will improve the utilization rate of local domestic waste resources, ease the regional power supply shortage, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the green and low-carbon energy transition of Uzbekistan.

Contract signed for an agricultural processing complex in Kazakhstan

CAMCE, a member enterprise of the CMEC Group, has officially signed the contract for an integrated agro-industrial complex project for deep processing of grain and legumes in Kazakhstan.

Under the Belt and Road Initiative, the plant will be a symbol of cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the agricultural sector.

Drawing on Sinomach's industrial advantages in agricultural equipment and its extensive experience in overseas agricultural projects, CAMCE will undertake full turnkey work — including engineering construction, equipment supply and installation, as well as system commissioning.

Once put into operation, the plant will greatly upgrade the local deep processing capacity of agricultural products, extend the agricultural industry chain, strengthen food security, boost agricultural added value and create more jobs.

Moreover, it will be a benchmark project in Kazakhstan's agricultural deep processing sector and continuously contribute to local economic and social development and the improvement of livelihoods.
